Antique Victorian oak throne chair with reading stand
This is a very unusual Victorian oak throne chair with a J.Carter patent mahogany and brass reading stand. The chair itself is extremely well made and very heavy with clear gothic influence. The stand is fully adjustable and moves smoothly. This is a comfy practical chair as well as a sure fire talking point in any room. It has been nicely upholstered recently (not by us) in a good quality dark green velvet which gives the piece a very grand feel. Perfect overall condition.
