19th century large carved wooden Indian temple elephant

This is a great looking and well made 19th century Indian elephant. Made from carved wood and retaining a lot of the original paint. Great quality to the carving and would look great in a number of interiors. The scale is what makes it a real decorators piece. No major faults and it mounted on a wooden base so it is very sturdy. Extremely heavy as well. The figure on top has moveable limbs and can swivel. A small detail but i rather like it.
