Antique Early 20th century oil painting of a French harbour scene
This is a beautiful early 20th century oil on board painting of a French harbour scene. The bold moody colours used give this a hugely decorative charm. It is housed in an original gilt frame with light distressing which for me only adds to the piece. It is a good size as well. There is a real quality to the piece as well which I think is down to the texture of the paint as well as the way the colours have been used. It seems to draw you in. Un signed
