This is a fabulous and rare 19th century Corner butchers bock from France. The simple details make this incredibly attractive and the condition overall is very good with a nice amount of age shown handsomely. The top is made of individual blocks, these are clean and could be used for prepping food. There are a few small holes in the top but these have been treated for wood worm and now cause no issue. The piece is very sturdy and it is great to see the original back board and knife rest still with the base. This is one of my favourite butchers blocks to date as I have never seen a corner example.
