This is a very rare c.1900 Brass triptych mirror made by Guenne. This was made for a dress makers shop in Paris as the fold old mirrors would show the dress from all angles. It is a very rare survivor and the only faults are some small cracks in the corners of the left panel. But you could replace this piece if they bothered you but I personally don't think they detract from the piece as the quality is unbelievable. The size is larger than average and the original mirror plates have fabulous foxing. There makers mark is on the back and is also on a little brass plaque on the first panel. The frame is solid wood and is in the original paint which is great to see. The pictures really do not do this justice.
