These are a striking pair of Maitland Smith tessellated stone side tables. Stunning quality and condition. The pieces of stone have been together in a mosaic layout and there is a double line of thin brass inlay running around the edge which enhance the design beautifully.
Maitland Smith is a design company set up in the late 70's. Celebrating traditional craftsmanship with its main focus in South East Asia. Finding unique materials and skills by local people. They would craft a wide variety of furniture in traditional methods and to superb quality.
