Henry Bradbury Seaweed print #17
These are a fabulous collection of Henry Bradbury seaweed prints which have been framed with none glare UV protected glass.
These rare antique prints of seaweeds are by Henry Bradbury (1831–1860). Bradbury made them using the ingenious nature printing technique. The story goes that Bradbury went over to Austria to learn of this new revolutionary natural specimen printing technique which he then brought back to the UK claiming it as his own. The regular work with lead plates cause Bradbury to become ill and subsequently died at the young age of 30.
These are original antiques, made in about 1850.
