18th century English oak shield back hall chair

This is a wonderful, all original 18th century English shield back hall chair. Made from solid oak and complete with original painted crest on the back. The chair makes a great feature in a room a but also has practical sizing meaning it could be used as a desk chair for example. The shape of the seat is lovely and the whole piece is very tactile, full of patina.
