About this piece
This is a very attractive totally original 18th century oak dresser base. Great looking and well made with plenty of character. The colour of the wood is lovely as is the size. All drawers open and shut smoothly. The cupboard doors open and close with an internal brass twist latch. It did once have a plate rack and where it once stool is slightly visible from the top but takes nothing away from the piece. All legs are solid and no faults there either. A great overall piece of English country furniture.
