The Piece

About this piece

This is a very attractive late 18th early 19th century Oval topped Elm dining table. It is French in origin and is totally original as far as I can see. The colour and patina to the elm is wonderful and this continues from the top all the way down the legs. There is a neat drawer on one side that is a lovely detail. The proportions of this table make it very practical and ideal for 10-12 sitters. There is a historic mark on the top to one side. It doesn't bother me as it is part of the tables history but we can re finish the top if you prefer. Old worm all treated as well.
