18th Century Spanish painting of Mary 'Passion of Christ'

This is a fine 18th century Spanish painting depicting the Madonna weeping over the Instruments of the Passion, specifically the crown of thorns. It is an iconic devotional image.

The overall condition is very good and the quality is unquestionable. The piece has been re stretchered well for the preservation of the canvas. Lovely size as well.
