This is an exceptional original 18th century solid walnut Spanish cupboard. The design is extremely bold and typically Spanish. Although 18th Century the geometric designs come across as quite contemporary and actually inspired the Spanish brutalist movement. The whole piece is solid timber making it extremely heavy. The construction is very impressive with attractive joints near the feet. The iron work is totally original and very well made. This cupboard is a rare survivor and I absolutely love what this will bring to an interior. The patina, colour and wear are not done justice in the images. 

For the interior it opens to reveal 3 shelves offering plenty of storage. There is an internal hook which holds the left door in place and the right door sliding lock works effortlessly meaning the doors stay closed and remain flush.
