This is a beautiful 19th century totally original painted folk art barrel chair. It is great overall condition and is both practical and hugely decorative. The size of this chair makes it ideal for use by a desk or dining table. Most likely this is a farmers chair as the seat lifts up possibly to hold animal feed or similar. Attractive patina all over and original metal band. Super tactile as well.
