About this piece
This a very smart and unusual designed 19th century mahogany Gueridon table. The stone is a rare black fossil marble which works so well with the mahogany pedestal base and the ebonised round feet. The pedestal base is in original condition with clear signs or wear and nibbles to the veneer, but I left it due to the attractive dry nature of the mahogany as well as the more original feel which suits the overall look better. We can however restore the base should you prefer.
