The Piece

About this piece

This is a great looking, well designed early 19th century cherrywood centre table. Its construction is almost architectural in its appearance and thats what drew me to. This would be an ideal piece in a large entrance hall or added to a kitchen space as an island or prep table. Even used as a dining table is a great option. The cherrywood top has great patina and no ugly marks and the base is a patina covered dream! Worn in parts to perfection but still in great condition and of course structurally sound. The cross stretcher as well is let into the legs very neatly and is testament to the quality of the crafts person who made it.
