The Piece

About this piece

If you would like this armchair upholstered please click yes in the upholstery drop down menu. This would require 5 metres of material. You can supply your own or please get in touch and we will send you the list of fabric companies we work with.

All my antique armchairs have been fully restored, springs, legs, padding etc so these will stand the test of time even if used everyday.

This is a very well made 19th century Oak framed open armchair with an unusually high back making it a great reading chair, The frame, legs and support have clear signs of age and patina but nothing that takes away from the quality of the piece. The casters are stamped with John Reid and son as well.
