About this piece
This is a beautifully made piece of recent date. This is a finely cast skeleton of a New Zealand North Island Kiwi bird taken from the original mount produced by Edward Gerrard in 1901. It is cased in an Ebonised and oak glass display which really sets off this piece and makes it hugely decorative.
