The Piece

About this piece

This is a very high quality early 20th century French faux rosewood and marble console table. The rosewood grain is a painted finish done to a very high standard showing the quality of the table. There is also a lot of the original gilt decoration around the drawers and the side panels. The marble is a stunning grey colour with impressive black veins running through it. The marble itself it free of chips and scratches. There are just a few very light age related marks but nothing that takes away from the piece. The drawers have gilt metal handles and open and close smoothly. The cabriole legs are very finely done as well. A. truly stunning piece of furniture.
