Georgian mahogany desk chair in tapestry fabric

This is a very elegant Georgian period desk chair. The design is very refined yet the sizing is generous for seating of this period. The shaped arms have wonderful patina and on the front of the left arm there is a knot in the wood that is an interesting tactile detail. The chair is upholstered in a tapestry/needlepoint fabric. Not original but certainly adds a lot to the chair. The outer back is a contrast material, lightly marked. The chair is structurally solid and would make the perfect desk chair. The quality is extremely high.
