The Piece
About this piece
There’s a lot to love about this Georgian plum pudding mahogany corner cupboard. The wonderfully figured timber has such warmth and depth, while opening the doors reveals its original painted interior—a lovely detail that makes it feel all the more special.
It survives in great original condition, complete with a working lock and its original key. There’s real pleasure in finding a piece of this age with these details still together.
A beautiful way to make use of a corner, whether filled with favourite ceramics or keeping everyday things tucked away. One of those pieces that brings an immediate sense of history and belonging to a home.
