About this piece

This is a lovely quality hanging tapestry. Its an interesting piece as the centre panel is 19th century and has been edged with a 20th century boarder and looks to have 18th century corner appliqués. The colours are strong blues and greens and the centre panels shows birds amongst trees in front of a castle. The condition is vert good and the whole piece is backed in heavy weight material. Highly decorative and great size.
