The Piece

About this piece

This is a striking 18th century farm house table made from solid elm. The colour and patina is fabulous especially top the top. The legs are chunky with an attractive chamfered shape to them. The legs have been re tipped at some point in its light which is common with these country tables and helps keep the overall height at a practical level. The top is full of pattern and burr that really adds to the character. There is signs of wood worm but all is now treated. Overall condition is very good and table is structurally sound.
