We have been working with a traditional rug manufacturer in Morocco and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of their pieces. Their eye for detail and maintaining the original weaving methods of generations passed made me fall in love with their process.

Moroccan rugs have been a popular choice for contemporary interiors for many years. Firstly for their quality but more so for their decorative merit. They have so many different designs and styles you really can create a truly unique space just by using a Moroccan rug. Their designs are usual irregular, abstract and subtle which allows these to work in a huge number of spaces. For me the textures and patterns of these rugs makes them a great piece to build a room around or add to finish a room off.

This example is a traditional white and Pink thick wool berber rug. An unusual combination offering a fresh feel to a space. Very heavy and the abstract pattern makes this hugely decorative. What makes this a little different is the woven thick boarder of pink with tassels. It really accentuates the thick wool.
