The 'Skar' reeded oak frame panelled wall mirror
This is our 'Skar' wall mirror. 'Skar' means clean edge and encapsulates what this mirror is all about. We were inspired by Mid century Swedish examples we have had in the past. The original mirrors are usually narrow frame and small glass panels, so we wanted to change that by creating the deep reeded frame and large size to make a real show stopping mirror.
The mirror is made up of one large central panel and surrounded my equally sized mirror plates. Separated by antique brass studs.

The story
Built by hand. Made to last.
Made by TallBoy is a celebration of exceptional craftspeople and the enduring value of making things properly. We work with skilled makers who continue to manufacture furniture using traditional techniques, combining generations of knowledge with a considered approach to contemporary design. Each piece is made with individuality, integrity and an uncompromising attention to quality, furniture designed not for a season, but to stand the test of time. By choosing honest materials, responsible methods and small-scale British production wherever possible, we believe in a more sustainable way of furnishing our homes: considered, characterful and made as furniture should be.
