The Piece

About this piece

This is a striking early 19th century William IV flame mahogany centre table. The top of the table is stunning, the way the veneer has been placed really shows the quality of the work and care taken to make such an impactful finish. What I like about this particular table is the slightly narrower base which gives it an almost Irish look. Fine carved details and scroll feet. The size is impressive making it idea for a large entrance hall or even for dining at. The top tilts effortlessly and hold its upright position well. It has a brass latch to hold it in place when flat. The overall condition is very good with minor age related marks but nothing that takes away from the piece.

Height when flat 71cm Diameter 128cm Height when flipped 145cm
