Antique 4m 1940's solid pine dining table
This is a rather exceptional 1940's 4m long dining table. The quality is superb overall with the base having multiple supports all with dovetail joints. The top is made of 4 thick and wide pine planks which means the top is very heavy and would need 3-4 people to lift it comfortably. The table is a huge size but the overall design is superb and actually gives the table a real elegance. The tapered legs and rounded corners to the top make this very attractive. The colour is a dark red/ brown stain that has a great finish to it and patina. No major faults and this is certainly a table that will be able to handle a lot of regular use.
The top comes away from the base so it is easy enough to move around with the right amount of people
