Greek Orthodox icon painting - No 2
This is a very nicely painted Greek orthodox icon depicting a man on the floor in green gown. It is well worn and has a very attractive appearance. Great quality to the work and the gnarled chunk of wood it is on is wonderful. Age is hard to judge as these were often produced into the 20th century and then put on old wood so my guess is early to mid 20th century. But regardless of age the quality is still superb.
