This is a superb quality Aesthetic movement bookcase. Made entirely of oak with a wonderful golden colour to it. The brass locks show the aesthetic movement influence with turn latches and fully working locks with key. The size of the piece is in my opinion its best feature as it isn't so large that you need a huge space to accommodate it. It is well proportioned and doesn't dominate a room. It would be ideal for use in an office or as kitchen storage. The interior of both halves reveals adjustable shelves making a versatile storage unit. The top separates from the base for ease of movement. The design is very elegant with only minimal reeded details. There is also a makers number on the top of the base only visible when the top is removed. Overall condition is very good with absolutely no major faults.
