Large 19th century Italian Ebonised and faux mahogany wall mirror

We have been fortunate to get hold of some truly stunning 19th century Italian frames that we have added nice quality mirror plate too. These make incredible features on any wall in a great number of interiors. The design is arguably quite contemporary which is why I love this particular design of frame. The moulding is incredibly fine and when I spoke to my restorer about these he informed me just how hard it is to make this moulding so it really is a testament to the crafts people of the time that created these.

This example is particularly unusual with the deep red smooth insert which contrasts to the ebonised ribbed frame perfectly. Impressive size and nice original condition.
